Welcome to Chalet Petal at Feriendorf Tschuggen
Chalet Petal is in the heart of the Belalp-Blatten skiing area, near Brig, Valais. This is an undiscovered paradise for alpine skiing, free-riding, winter-walking, and sledding, with direct piste access to/from our Chalet. Chalet Petal (Chalet 21) is next to the indoor swimming pool, near the shop and Reception of holiday-village Tschuggen (1600m) and with access from the mid-station of the Blatten-Belalp cable-car at Erich-Tschuggen. Chalet Petal is positioned on a sunny, wind-protected terrace, high above Blatten (1300m). From our terrace and private balcony enjoy beautiful, sunny views over the Brig valley, across to the towering southern Valais peaks, and towards the Simplon Pass. We are in a peaceful, car-free winter wonderland. Luggage transport up to the Chalet is all organized – arrive at your winter hideaway by cable-car and skidoo.
Our cosy Chalet was completely reconditioned and re-furnished in 2007 and has 2 luxury bathrooms, 3 bedrooms (1-6 guests), fully-fitted kitchen, fireplace, balcony, and ski-store cellar. We have satellite TV, DVD/CD system and free wireless Internet access for you. In the holiday village, the excellent Restaurant Tschuggen, a shop, heated indoor swimming pool and sauna await. The indoor swimming pool is free-of-charge to guests.
Snow-sure Belalp-Blatten has a sunny aspect and a beautiful skiing area with 60km of varied pistes between 1300m and 3100m and spectacular views to the Matterhorn and across the Aletsch Glacier, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The nursery slopes and cross-country tracks at Kühmatte are accessed directly from Belalp (2000m). A choice of long Blue and Red pistes await from Hohbiel (2700m). Untracked off-piste areas and testing Black-grade descents from the Hohstock (3100m) attract keen Snowboarders and Freeriders.
