Chalet Petal is Chalet 21 in Tschuggen, and is located next to the swimming pool/sauna building. Reception, Restaurant Tschuggen and the shop are on the other side of the swimming pool. Check in for Chalet Petal at Feriendorf Tschuggen Reception.
Tschuggen is well-connected by the efficient Swiss Transport System from city/airport via railway (Brig), postbus (Blatten bei Naters) and cable car (Belalpbahn) to Erich/Tschuggen.
As the Blatten-Tschuggen road is closed to cars in winter (becoming the piste/toboggan run), your luggage will be delivered to Chalet Petal in line with the Erich/Tschuggen cable-car timetable (last delivery by 19:00 on Saturday in ski season), so please check the Belalpbahnen website for timetable and luggage information www.belalpbahnen.ch . Luggage transfer from cable-car to chalet and return CHF100 per container 1m x 1m x 1.2m. This is arranged at the kiosk behind the cable-car station at Blatten.
By car. Principal driving routes to the Brig area are from Geneva/Lausanne via Sierre, from Basel/Zurich/Bern via the Lotschberg car-shuttle, or via the Furka pass/car-shuttle from Eastern Switzerland. Rather than driving into Brig town centre, follow the signs for Naters and then Blatten bei Naters.
From April-November (snow permitting) you may park directly under the chalet.
In winter, it is necessary to park in the Blatten car park or Rischinen (free parking and 5-minute bus shuttle to Blatten).
